INTRODUCTION

Saraj Endocath, is a specialized endoscopic catheter for suction and irrigation. It is used for suctioning blood, saline, brain fluid and tumor tissues. Through its universal connector system, it can be attached to main suction apparatus in any operation theatre.

Its utilization in various neurosurgical and ENT procedures are well proven like Endoscopic Trans-nasal pituitary / skull base surgeries, endoscopic intraventricular surgeries, endoscopic evacuation of chronic subdural hematoma and Endoscopic evacuation of intracranial hematoma/Bleed

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Attach all the endoscope clips (3) and cable clip.
    2. Keep the distal suction tip 12 mm ahead of frontal/ Anterior lens of endoscope.
    3. Keep the suction tube at 6’O Clock of endoscope.
    4. Keep the suction controller near the thumb of holding hand.
    5. Attach vaccum cup at endoscope body bare area (not on engraving).
    6. Flush the suction in case of block.
    7. Single time usage.
    8. Use it with Zero (0) Degree endoscope.
